New Bluegrass Boys The Brand New Bluegrass Boys are a group of multi-talented musicians who bring bluegrass music to a new level. As individual entertainers, they each have extensive experience and recognition in their perspective area of expertise. Each member began at an early age to expand on his talent and broaden his mastery of various instruments. Jeff Whittington performed on the Grand Ole Opry and was a staff musician with the Arthur Smith Show. Jeff plays banjo, pedal steel, dobro, and guitar. |

Joe Mahaffey, a founding member of Blue Denim, recorded for Homestead Records throughout the `70's and has an extensive background in Gospel music. Joe plays guitar and bass. John Culbreath performed with such bluegrass greats as Vassar Clements and Mac Wiseman, as well as being a former SC State Banjo Champion. John plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. |
Mike Lambert has performed throughout the Piedmont area as a solo act and with various groups, playing bluegrass, gospel, and acoustic music. Mike plays guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo. Tom Frew, originally from Scotland, was known as "that amazing kid drummer." Torn has performed and recorded with various groups throughout Canada and the United States. |
Tom Isenhour has won an array of awards from musical competitions and collects vintage musical instruments. Tom plays mandolin, guitar, bass, and banjo. |
